Kids Jiu-Jitsu class at MD Condesa, Mexico City

Much more than learning to fight

Martial arts are one of the best tools for a child's development. On the mat, kids learn to win and lose with humility, to focus, to respect others and to trust themselves. The discipline and confidence they build here show up at school and at home.

  • Confidence and self-esteem — they achieve things they thought impossible, step by step.
  • Discipline and focus — structure, routine and clear goals.
  • Self defense and anti-bullying — real tools to protect themselves and set boundaries.
  • Physical activity — coordination, strength and energy well spent, away from screens.

Programs by age

We group children by age and stage so every class is appropriate and safe:

  • Mini (ages 3–5) — Muay Thai focused on play, coordination and following instructions.
  • Jiu-Jitsu & Muay Thai Kids (ages 4–12) — technique, discipline and self defense, with plenty of fun.
  • Teens (ages 13–17) — challenge, structure, community and a healthy outlet for their energy.

Have a toddler? Our Baby Fight Club is a movement class for babies 12–36 months with mom or dad.

For expat and visiting families

Moving to or visiting Mexico City with kids? Our room is welcoming and English-friendly, and martial arts are a fast way for children to build routine, friendships and confidence in a new place. Families are always welcome to watch a class before enrolling.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What ages do you teach?
From age 3 in the Mini group (Muay Thai), ages 4–12 in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kids, and 13–17 in Teens. For babies 12–36 months we have Baby Fight Club.
Do martial arts make kids aggressive?
Quite the opposite. We teach control, respect and discipline. Kids learn these skills are for protecting themselves, not for aggression, and usually become calmer and more confident.
Does it help with bullying?
Yes. Beyond self-defense tools, the confidence and body language kids develop make them less of a target, and they learn to set boundaries without violence.
Are classes in English?
Classes are taught in Spanish, but the coaches and many families speak English, and kids pick up the visual, playful format quickly regardless of language.
Can I watch the class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to observe. Book a trial class and meet the team before enrolling.
What does my child need for the first class?
Comfortable athletic clothes and water. Nothing else to start; if they continue, we'll advise you on the uniform.
