Muay Thai class at MD Condesa, Mexico City

Why train Muay Thai?

Muay Thai — Thailand's national sport, "the art of eight limbs" — is one of the most complete striking systems in the world, using fists, elbows, knees and kicks plus the clinch. It's also one of the most efficient workouts you'll ever do: technical, athletic and genuinely fun.

  • Serious conditioning — high-intensity intervals with real skill work; excellent for fat loss and cardio.
  • Stand-up self defense — striking that actually works under pressure.
  • Stress relief — few things clear your head like hitting pads after a long day.
  • Coordination and confidence — move your whole body with precision and stay calm under pressure.

All levels — and English-friendly

No experience or fitness base required. Every class starts with a warm-up and technique, then scales to your level. Classes are taught in Spanish, but several coaches and many students speak English and everything is demonstrated visually, so English speakers pick it up quickly.

Adult Muay Thai runs morning and evening, seven days a week, so it fits around work or travel plans. Bring athletic clothes and water — we'll lend you gear to start.
